Every slash command, with examples Alvin Bot answers plain language — you never have to learn a command. These 60 exist for the moments when you want to be exact: switch a model, steer a running task, schedule a job, look at what it remembers. Search below, or open a group.

Search commands Getting your bearings What it is, whether it is alive, and how to start over.
/helpLists every command with a one-line description. /startGreeting and the first three things worth trying. /pingAnswers immediately if the bot is running — no model call, no cost. /statusProvider, model, uptime, token and cost totals, and any active quota lock. /versionThe running version, and whether a newer one is published. /aboutWhat the bot does, whose terms apply, and the plain statement that you run it at your own risk. /newhas consequences Starts a fresh session: the conversation so far is dropped. /exportSends the conversation as a file you can keep. /langde|enSwitches the interface language. /webuiOpens the web dashboard — lanes, jobs, memory, settings. While it is working A running task is not a black box: steer it, hurry it, or stop it — without starting over.
/btw<note>Feeds a note into the task that is running right now. /finishAsks the running turn to wrap up and summarise instead of digging deeper. /cancelStops the current request at once. /stopallhas consequences Stops every running task in this chat, including background agents. /effortlow|medium|high|xhigh|maxHow hard the model thinks before answering. /verbosityshort|medium|fullHow long the answers are. /pp<text>Sharpens this one message into a precise brief before the bot starts on it. /pro_prompting[auto on|off|status|show|add <text>]Turns automatic briefing on or off for this chat — like /pp before every message. /continuationon|offWhether the bot automatically takes one more turn after a background agent finishes. /voiceon|offReplies as a voice message instead of text. /tts[voice|provider]Picks the voice and the text-to-speech provider. Parallel workstreams Lanes are separate conversations inside one bot — each with its own memory, folder, model and budget.
/lane[name]Switches to a lane, or creates it if the name is new. /lanesDashboard of every lane: what each is doing, what it cost, when it last ran. /autopilot[off|status]Lets a lane keep working on its own, at an interval you set, until you stop it. /workspace[name]Switches the active workspace: persona, working folder and model in one. /workspacesLists every workspace with its purpose and folder. /dir[path]Changes the working folder for this conversation. Background work Long jobs run as separate processes that survive an aborted chat, a restart, and a closed laptop lid.
/sub_agents[list|stop]Shows the background agents that are running, finished or failed — and stops one. /gauntlet<task>Runs a build-then-break loop: one worker implements, independent critics try to prove it wrong, findings go back to the worker. /cron[list|add|run|rm]Scheduled jobs: a shell command, a message, or a question to the AI — on a timetable. /remind<when and what>Sets a reminder in plain language. Models and providers Several providers, one chain: when one runs out or fails, the next one answers.
/provider[name]Switches the global provider, adds a key, or signs in. /model[model]Picks the model for this lane — the list comes live from the provider, so it is never a stale hard-coded name. /fallback[pause|resume|set]The order providers are tried in, and pausing a link without removing it. /kontingent[free|test <time>]Shows which account is out of quota and until when, releases a lock, or sets a test lock. /openrouter[free|search|add|rm] [model]Finds OpenRouter models — including the free ones — and wires them into the chain. /ollama[search|status|install|test|activate|rm|login] [model]Installs, tests and manages local or cloud models through Ollama. /leanon|offA trimmed context so a small local model fits in its window. Memory It remembers across sessions without being told to — and you can look, add and search.
/memory[show|clear]Shows what is remembered about you and this conversation. /remember<text>Stores one fact permanently. /recall<query>Searches memory by meaning, not just by matching words. /reindexRebuilds the memory index after you edited the files by hand. /note<@user and text>Saves a note about someone, so the bot knows them next time. /usersThe saved profiles. Reaching out Search, fetch, look at a page, make a picture.
/web<query>A quick web search. /browse<url>Opens a page and sends back a screenshot. /imagine<prompt>Generates an image. Looking inside What it can do, what it is told to be, and who may use it.
/toolsEvery tool the agent can reach right now. /skillsThe installed skills — packaged instructions for specific kinds of task. /pluginsThe loaded plugins and the commands they add. /mcp[list|add|rm]MCP servers: connect external tool sets. /systemThe system prompt and persona currently in force. /reloadhas consequences Re-reads the persona file from disk after you edited it. /securityWho may use the bot, which guards are on, and what shell mode is set. /groupsThe group chats the bot is registered in. Housekeeping Setup, updates, disk. The ones with consequences ask first in the browser.
/setuphas consequences The guided setup: API keys, platforms, web password. /updatehas consequences Fetches the latest version, builds it, and restarts into it. /autoupdateon|off|statusWhether updates install themselves. /restarthas consequences Restarts the bot gracefully — a running turn is not cut off mid-sentence. /cleanuphas consequences Frees disk space: old screenshots and temporary files. This list mirrors the bot’s own catalogue — the same one /help prints and the same one its tests keep in sync with the registered handlers. Examples are generic on purpose.
